Description:
This project for the new station is part of a broader program for the land restructuring of the Olbia railway junction, which began in 2004 with the protocol of understanding between the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport, the Municipality of Olbia, Ferrovie dello Stato, and the Olbia Golfo Aranci Harbour Authority. The project, which aims to rationalise the railway activities through a series of urban, architectural, and environmental works, recovers and redevelops a currently dilapidated area and will provide the city with a new public and service space, achieving a significant stitching operation for the urban texture in the process.
