Design of safety measures, conservative renovation, and new illumination of the façades. First and foremost, a thorough analysis of the deterioration phenomena, along with an accurate instrumental survey and detailed mapping of any forms of deterioration, enabled the assessment of the conservation and restoration process for the surfaces. The renovation of the façade was made possible through cleaning interventions, plaster consolidation, new painting, and restoration of the stone elements. The final phase involved applying protective products to the façades to ensure perfect transparency and durability of the treated surfaces, guaranteeing anti-yellowing even after a prolonged exposure to sunlight, as well as the reversibility of the intervention. Additionally, external scenographic illumination was designed to enhance the architectural and artistic value of the façades, utilising a LED system and projectors to ensure longevity and energy savings.
